Angela Webb-Weinberg currently serves as the Treasurer of Jefferson County, Alabama, where she is dedicated to advancing financial transparency, fiscal responsibility, and community empowerment. With a strong commitment to public service, Angela oversees the stewardship of county funds, ensuring accountability and efficient use of taxpayer dollars.
A proud graduate of the University of Alabama (UAB), Angela combines her education and experience to champion financial literacy initiatives across Jefferson County. She has launched programs designed to educate families, seniors, and small business owners on budgeting, debt management, and wealth -building strategies. Her signature program, "GET FIT/Money Mavericks" equips men/women with tools to build generational wealth, while additional outreach initiatives serve families with special needs and seniors.
Angela's leadership focuses on bridging the gap between county operations and the community by promoting transparency, economic education, and financial empowerment. She is passionate about creating programs that strengthen households and local businesses through education and access to resources.
Guided by her mother's wisdom- "Build a life that outlives you"- Angela's mission is to leave a legacy of opportunity, equity, and financial security for future generations.
Outside of her professional role, Angela is married to civil rights attorney Martin Weinberg. Together, they are proud parents of three children, and share their home with two pups.
