2025 Property Notices
The Jefferson County Board of Equalization has sent out the 2025 property valuation notices, and the period to protest
those notices is now open. May 22 – June 20, 2025. You can visit the BOE webpage here

If you are approved for the 7% CAP and not subject to exclusion, it will be applied to your “Assessed Value” and reflected
on your tax bill in October. The Board of Equalization notice reflects the value based on market conditions year to year.
